Sunflower and Goldeneye

The Goldeneye plant is much shorter than the Sunflower. It has numerous slender stems, 1 to 3 feet tall, each of which has a bright golden yellow flower head.

This plant grows on dry slopes and roadsides. It is one of our showiest plants in late summer.
